Treating

Respiratory and skin conditions

Salt therapy has been used to treat upper and lower respiratory conditions such as cold and flu, allergy, asthma, bronchitis, cystic fibrosis, sinus infection, sinusitis, rhinitis, hay fever and emphysema. In addition, the anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties of salt have been shown to effectively treat conditions of the skin such as eczema, dermatitis and psoriasis.

Salt rooms and salt therapy are a fairly new practice here in the States, but in Europe they are well known as salt caves, given their origins from salt mines of Poland, where salt therapy was discovered. Instead of the confined and enclosed European salt caves, we believe in creating a calming spa environment for our salt room in order to give clients a tranquil atmosphere where they can relax while benefiting from the salt therapy.
